The mission of the Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) is to help people conserve energy and to promote a more sustainable and socially equitable energy future for the Philadelphia region.

To meet this goal, ECA weatherizes over 3,000 homes and conducts energy education workshops to over 6,000 Philadelphians each year, provides green job training at our newly renovated Green Jobs Training Center, repairs & replaces over 4,000 heating systems per year, and serves as a provider of LEED and Energy Star for Homes certification. Our programs offer opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds and levels of experience to learn about, work in, and create a greener tomorrow.
