Our Impact in 2023

Each year, ECA’s work keeps thousands warm during the winter, helps thousands more avoid utility termination, opens careers in clean energy to students and returning citizens, and dramatically reduces energy use for hundreds of homes. Our work alleviates poverty, reduces carbon emissions, adds value to the assets of low-income households, tackles the skills gap and diversity issues in the trades, and advances the clean energy economy.

In 2023, ECA:

  • Trained 250 emerging workers in the clean energy economy

  • Prevented 898 utility terminations in Philadelphia

  • Weatherized 761 homes across Philadelphia and Delaware

  • Restored heat in 2,726 homes across Philadelphia and Delaware

  • Averted 41,444.80 metric tons of carbon emissions through this work
