Environmental Laborer

The Environmental Technician / Laborer performs a range of tasks required for environmental cleanup operations to include but not limited to, tank cleaning, pipeline maintenance, manual remediation services, waste bulking, and/or demolition services, in accordance with established company policies and procedures. 
 
Environmental Technicians / Laborers will work on-site at project locations which typically include abandoned warehouses, buildings or outdoor areas. The work environment is usually dirty, dusty, and noisy, containing hazardous or potentially hazardous substances and/or materials and is subject to inclement or extreme weather conditions. Work includes handling hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment. The applicant must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.  Frequent travel is required


 

Utility Manager

Pennrose is an industry leader in the development and management of Affordable Housing. We are excited to be hiring a Utility Manager for our Property support Center located in Philadelphia, PA.

This position will monitor and manage utility consumption and costs for the Pennrose portfolio. This position will promote water and energy conservation and efficiency to reduce operating costs, manage resident billback programs, successfully budget utility costs, originate and maintain utility allowance studies, mentor site staff on sustainable best practices and more. The Utility Manager reports to the Director of Asset Management and supports the goal of maximizing financial performance and value of the Pennrose portfolio.

Policy Fellow


COMPENSATION: $15/hour, 10-20 hours a week

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The policy fellow is a part-time, temporary, paid position for a current or recently graduated college
student or graduate student who is interested in: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Graphic
Design, Data Analysis, Public Health, City Planning, Transportation, Public Policy, or a related field.
