PGW CRP Home Comfort

Overview

The Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) provides a very cost effective weatherization program to assist its low income customers on the Customer Responsibility Program (CRP) to lower their gas usage.  The program is targeted to the highest users and can provide any and all of the following services:    air sealing, insulation, automatic setback thermostat, weatherstripping,  pipe wrap, water heater wrap,  heating system repair or replacement,  energy related home repair and occupant education. 

ECA administers the PGW CRP Home Comfort program,  providing more than 20%  gas savings on average,  and  30% savings to those households which receive a new heating system in addition to shell measures such as air sealing and insulation and other standard treatments. 
 

Eligibility requirements

Customers must be at or below 150% of poverty, heat with gas and be current in payments on the Customer Responsibility Program (CRP).
