ECA is a nonprofit organization founded in 1984 to help solve Philadelphia’s energy/poverty crisis. Its mission is to help people conserve energy and promote a sustainable and socially equitable energy future for all in the Philadelphia region. ECA has established a grassroots network of Neighborhood Energy Centers (NECs) which now includes 14 “one-stop-shops” throughout Philadelphia for comprehensive energy services.
ECA’s 60+ staff members work in a LEED Gold facility—formerly a factory producing civil war uniforms—in the West Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. The facility houses ECA’s Energy and Water Conservation crews, Heating Department, Community Programs team, Training Center, and administrative staff.
ECA is searching for a highly skilled and committed Director of Planning and Development, see file attached below.
ECA has a number of volunteering and internship opportunities. If you are a seasoned professional and would like to volunteer your services, please contact us to explore mutual interests.
