Walt Yakabosky

Mr. Yakabosky spent 19 years in the private sector in sales and senior management.He served as adjunct faculty at several community colleges and private schools across the country. In 1989 he changed careers where he was a faculty member and Coordinator for Computer Instruction at the MetropolitanCareerCenter in Philadelphia. In 1993 he accepted a position as the Director for Business and Industry Training at the Community College of Philadelphia. In 1999 he accepted a position as Dean for Technical Education at Delaware County Community College. He received several awards and citations for his efforts in supporting economic development through education including the Governor’s Award for a best practices in developing a 2+2+2 career pathways model, Excellence in Manufacturing Education from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Golden Apple Award from the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry for education in support of economic development just to name a few.Mr. Yakabosky has also been inducted into the 3E Institute at West Chester University for Excellence in Entrepreneurship in Education.


Currently, he is the Director of Training at ECA’s Knight Green Jobs Training Center located in Kensington and is responsible for developing and implementing curriculum and courses related to energy efficiency, environmental remediation, renewable energy and commercial HVAC.
