Nick Sracic
Nick strives to build a stronger and more sustainable Philadelphia. He merged a background in engineering and business development into a career where he leads infrastructure renewal projects, supports sustainability efforts, and creates job and training for the local workforce. With a passion for education and career development, Nick orchestrated a partnership with the Energy Coordinating Agency to create a heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) technical job training and vocational laboratory program that serves the Philadelphia School District, ASPIRA charters schools, and returning citizens. The program, called Pathways, teaches the future HVAC workforce and provides students with certifications toward high-paying careers. Nick has led several other training and employment programs throughout his career.
A lifelong learner, Nick earned a Masters of Engineering in Technology Management, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering co-sponsored by Wharton School of Business. Nick also secured a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Nick lives in the Philadelphia area with Dayna, his wife, and their three young children. In his spare time, he enjoys tending to his garden, playing music and family activities.
