Apply To Become an ECA NEC!

Updated: Apr 8, 2021

ECA is looking to reevaluate and expand our network of Neighborhood Energy Centers! Every three years, ECA's effort is to make sure that centers appropriately cover the City of Philadelphia and have locations where people needing these services are. Poverty does not stay still, and neither do we.

To become designated as a Neighborhood Energy Center, an organization must demonstrate the ability, capacity and willingness to provide comprehensive energy services to low income households. If that sounds like what you do and what people in your neighborhood need, please apply to become an ECA Neighborhood Energy Center- or contact an existing center to inquire about acting as a satellite site!

Proposals will be accepted until May 4th, 2021 at 5pm. A virtual briefing for interested organizations will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., via Zoom. Please email lorraineh@ecasys.org or call at (215) 609-1044 or if you plan to attend. On Tuesday morning, a link to join the meeting will be emailed to you. Attendance at this briefing is recommended but not required to submit a proposal.
