Trainee Complaint Process
KGJTC encourages an open and welcoming atmosphere where any problem, complaint, suggestion or question is received and answered in a timely manner. This philosophy extends from the training instructors to the Executive Director.
If an applicant, or student has a complaint regarding the registration process, training curriculum, training staff, records, or any other element of their experience at the KGJTC, the following five step procedure should be followed:
-
The Trainee should first attempt to resolve the issue verbally with the training instructor.
-
If the issue cannot be resolved with the training instructor, the trainee must submit a written complaint to the Office of the Registrar. The complaint must be submitted with the trainee’s name, signature, and the date. A complaint without the trainee’s name will not be considered. A grievance on discrimination should instead be submitted to the civil rights coordinator, ECA’s HR Director.
-
An appointment with the Director of Training will be arranged to resolve the issue.
-
If the issue cannot be resolved with the Director of Training, the Director will request an appointment with the Executive Director.
-
The decision of the Executive Director is final.
