Trainee Complaint Process

KGJTC encourages an open and welcoming atmosphere where any problem, complaint, suggestion or question is received and answered in a timely manner. This philosophy extends from the training instructors to the Executive Director.

If an applicant, or student has a complaint regarding the registration process, training curriculum, training staff, records, or any other element of their experience at the KGJTC, the following five step procedure should be followed:

  1. The Trainee should first attempt to resolve the issue verbally with the training instructor.

  2. If the issue cannot be resolved with the training instructor, the trainee must submit a written complaint to the Office of the Registrar. The complaint must be submitted with the trainee’s name, signature, and the date. A complaint without the trainee’s name will not be considered. A grievance on discrimination should instead be submitted to the civil rights coordinator, ECA’s HR Director.

  3. An appointment with the Director of Training will be arranged to resolve the issue.

  4. If the issue cannot be resolved with the Director of Training, the Director will request an appointment with the Executive Director.

  5. The decision of the Executive Director is final.
