Communications and Outreach Coordinator - Filled ASAP
Background: ECA, a local non-profit organization, is a leader in the effort to increase the energy efficiency of new and existing homes across Pennsylvania. In partnership with the City of Philadelphia, ECA is launching the Energy Works program to improve the energy efficiency of homes in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. The program will stand up the home performance industry in southeastern Pennsylvania, providing energy and cost savings for homeowners, while creating more work opportunities for small businesses.
Responsibilities: Outreach: Work closely with County Commissioners, state and local representatives, civic leaders, key stakeholders, the press and ECA staff to market the Energy Works program and help it reach its goals. Develop and execute a community communications and outreach plan. Develop and maintain relationships with press, organize press conferences and events, receive visitors and strengthen ECA’s public profile. Give workshops and public presentations on behalf of the program to a wide range of audiences. Write articles for publication in wide range of print media: community newspapers, bulletins, newsletters, websites etc. Write stories and get them published in print and on-line; link key stakeholders’ websites to the ECA/Energyworks website. Support Project Manager and other staff with communications support and carries out other duties as needed.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. Work experience in marketing/public relations is preferred. Excellent communication and writing skills, proven ability to create marketing materials, competency in graphics and design, interpersonal skills, and public speaking skills are required. A basic understanding of energy conservation and the benefits of home weatherization will be helpful.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages day to day operations for the Energy Works program for ECA.
• Coordinates field and office staff and subcontractors responsible for intake, scheduling, auditing, installation, customer education and inspection.
• Works closely with the Communications Coordinator to insure adequate outreach to reach program goals and to sustain steady growth..
• Develops and implements systems to insure high level of work quality and customer service; Handles customer questions and complaints
• Oversees selection and administration of subcontractors as needed.
• Oversees equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Works closely with the Controller and IT Director to insure proper record keeping and reporting capability is maintained and that the data bases are adequate to support the needs of all activity and their evaluation.
• Works closely with the SES Manager and other staff in planning.
• Revises the Energy Works program design as needed.
• Related duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
• Strong management, supervisory and organizational skills
• Extensive customer service experience; at least four years of field experience
• Previous business experience, with an emphasis on retail and customer service
• Proven administrative ability
• Strong technical skills with construction and energy conservation
• Good interpersonal skills
• Minimum of a B.A. degree

Field Services Coordinator HES Data Entry Clerk
Reports to: Assistant Director Conservation Center
Qualifications: High School Education or Equivalent GED
Work Experience and Skills:
- Two years field experience in customer service work or human services
- Ability to manage multiple assignments is critical
- Must be personable and able to communication with a diverse population in order to establish a rapport with customers and staff
- Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Access
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Basic math skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Superior attention to detail
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately data enter Weatherization billing into billing systems
- Issue routine reports from the record
- Track client services
- Manage application hotline
- Assist with application approval process and referral
- Back up to field schedulers
- Filing work orders daily
- Adding, changing, and auditing client records in ECAsys and HES systems
